Goal

During the Return process, can we use nonReturnItemCostAdjustment attribute to calculate individual item level Refund value?

Example :-

From Agent API to get return request details https://ccadmin-xxxx-xxxx.oracleoutsourcing.com/ccagent/v1/returnRequests/700057 we see the below information

"refundInfo": {

"suggestedTaxRefund": 8.33,

"suggestedTotalRefund": 91.63,

"actualTaxRefund": 8.33,

"refundDue": 91.63,

}

The total refund due for this order is 91.63.

In the above return request, in each item level (returnItems attribute), we see the below information

for cixxxxxxx "actualRefundAmount": 42.73, "suggestedTaxRefund": 4.27,

for cixxxxxxx "actualRefundAmount": 37.98, "suggestedTaxRefund": 3.8,

adding the above, we are getting 88.78 which does not match the suggestedTotalRefund of 91.63

In promotionAdjustments->nonReturnItemCostAdjustment, we see the below

"orderDiscountShareAdjustment": -2.59, "taxShareAdjustment": -0.26,

By adjusting the individual item amounts with the above nonReturnItemCostAdjustment attributes, we are getting the correct total matching the suggestedTotalRefund as below,

88.78- (-2.59)-(-.26) = 91.63

Hence we are able calculate the individual refund amount by adjusting the actualRefundAmount and suggestedTaxRefund at returnItems level with nonReturnItemCostAdjustment attributes.
