Triggering Published On A Custom Template Pops Up 'The system could not process your request...': "Could not invoke method startsWith...Object not found: a(error_uploadDataModel)" (Doc ID 2755781.1)

Symptoms

On Unifier : Any Version

When trying to set the Status of a Custom Template to 'Published':

Expected Result

The item should be published without incident.

Actual Result

The following Unifier Notification pops up:

 The system could not process your request see detail.
 Logging in again may help in some cases.
 Contact your System Administrator if you are still having problems.

It is noted that the Notification only pops up for one/some of the items in the Custom Templates node - and not all.

Something similar to the following can be found in the Unifier log files:

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Sign into Unifier, and in Admin mode navigate to: Company Workspace > Configuration > Custom Templates
  2. Select the Item in question and click on: Status > Published
  3. Note the Unifier Notification that pops up
