Cancel Classification Process and It Stayed in Cancelling Status and Blocking From Running Other Incentive Compensation Jobs (Doc ID 2756091.1)

Symptoms

The Classify Credits process seems stuck.  User cancelled this job but the status stay in Cancelling.  This is blocking user from submitting other Incentive Compensation jobs.

STEPS
1. Make changes to Direct Credit Rules.
2. Run Crediting
3. Run Classify Credits ... it has been running for 7+ hours so user cancel this job
4. The request job was cancelled by Oracle ( this is not recommended for Classification job )
5. User corrected the Direct Credit Rules to reduce unnecessary credits being generated.
6. User then resubmit Crediting and now the process is taking a very long time
