Symptoms
The EL Expression #{securityContext.userInRole['role']} to check for users in a role consistently returns false when the EL Expression is applied to a custom page entry.
Steps To Reproduce
- Log into the Fusion Environment
- Enter a Sandbox with access to Structure
- Go to Configurations > Structure
- Click Create > Create Page Entry
- Select EL Expression for Show on Navigator
- Click the Edit icon for Show on Navigator
- Add the EL Expression #{securityContext.userInRole['<input role code to configure>']}
- Click Validate
- The value returned is false even though the role may be mapped to the user account being used
