Connecting to Linux instance fails with "kvm: host does not support poll control" Error - OCI (Doc ID 2759533.1)

Symptoms

The OCI Linux instance starts successfully, and is in RUNNING state. However, when you try to connect to the instance using Console Connection (or Remote Shell), the following error is displayed on the VNC screen and you are unable to start the operating system (OS):

kvm: host does not support poll control
kvm: host upgrade recommended
Couldn't get size: 0x8000000000000000e
MODSIGN: Couldn't get UEFI db list
Couldn't get size: 0x8000000000000000e
Unable to open file: /etc/keys/x509_ima.der (-2)
ip_local_port_rage: prefer different parity for start/end values
connection1:0: detected conn error (1020)
