Fusion Global HR: Not Able To Rename HCM Extract With LDG (Doc ID 2760108.1)

Within the what's new section for 20D documentation:

Rename the extract definition by using the Copy or Rename options that are available in the Extract Definitions page. You can rename an extract when you want to import or migrate a later version of the extract with the same name.

Rename functionality is not working for extracts that have an LDG.


An application error has occurred.
Your help desk can use the following information to obtain a more detailed description of this incident: <x>, Server Domain: FADomain, Server Instance: UIServer_1, Application Name: ORA_HCM_UIAPP.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigator > My Client Groups > Extract Definition
2. Search for Extract
3. In the new UI, on same search results page, click duplicate/rename icon (far right side corner)
4. Enter Name, select "Rename" option and press OK
