Oracle Taleo Enterprise Edition: Agent Error: "Authentication failed: invalid user/password." (Doc ID 2761438.1)

Problem Description:

Agent agent shows as Failed in OBI or an agent shows a status of Agent Failed in the Preview pane in Agent Management.

When viewing the Agents report or clicking the link on the Agent Failed status, the following error is shown:


[nQSError: 77006] Oracle BI Presentation Server Error: A fatal error occurred while processing the request.

The server responded with: Authentication Failure.

Odbc driver returned an error (SQLDriverConnectW).
State: 08004. Code: 10018. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: 08004] [nQSError: 10018] Access for the requested connection is refused. (08004)
State: HY000. Code: 43113. [nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS. (HY000)
State: HY000. Code: 43126. [nQSError: 43126] Authentication failed: invalid user/password. (HY000)
