Purpose

This document will show and compare compensation plan setup and how to calculate commission for participants with different home currencies when the currency exchange rate changes through the plan year and the earnings depends on a home currency amount entity like a quota amount in home currency.

Scope

Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation supports [ Processing Currency ] = Operating Currency only ( eg. USD )

1. Participant ( REP1 CAD ) has home currency code = CAD.
2. Participant has Annual Target = $24000 CAD over 12 months ( ie. $2000 CAD each month , $6000 CAD for each quarterly interval ) .
3. Attainment = SUM ( Credit Amount / Interval Target )
4. Rate Table ( against quarterly interval )  based on Attainment % :
       FROM     TO         RATE
           0   -   25%       10%
         25   -   50%       20%
         50   -   75%       30%
         75   - 100%       40%
       100   - 99999%    50%
5. Commission = Rate Table Rate X SUM ( Credit Amount )
