Last Update Date And By Information Is Changed When User Just Only Views The Supplier Information (Doc ID 2765802.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

When the customer views the information about the supplier without any edit/change/update/save, the application changes the last update date and last update by in "About this record" to the user who views the information. Also, the user does not have a role to edit the supplier information only the inquiry role.
 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The last update date should not be modified if a user is not making any changes

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Procurement --> Suppliers
2. manage Supplier --> Query the supplier
3. Open It to view the information
4. Close the UI
5. last update date gets modified

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot identify the exact last update date on the supplier profile.
