Fusion Benefits:Length Of Service Derived Factor Not Working Correctly
(Doc ID 2765982.1)

Oracle Fusion Benefits Cloud Service - Version 11.13.21.01.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
We have noticed that length of service derived factor is not working properly. Here are the details:
Expected behavior: Employees should not be eligible for 6 months from (most recent) date of hire for the plan “Basic Short Term Disability”.
Actual behavior: Some employees are getting eligibility even before completing 6 months.
Initial Analysis: We observed that the employees who had a Contract period of Service prior to the employment are getting eligibility. For example, employee A has a hire date of 11/16/2020, when we run a life event as of 2/26/2021, employee is not expected to be eligible for this plan. However, employee is getting eligibility.
What I noticed is that the derived factor seems to be considering the Contractor period of service record in per_periods_of_service table which has a date_start of 11/13/2018 and an actual_termination_date of 11/6/2020.
