"The system could not process your request..." When Attempting To Edit Project/Shell Attribute Detail Form (Doc ID 2766872.1)

Symptoms

The following is being displayed when trying to update a Project/Shell Attribute Detail form Project Number and/or Project Name.

ERROR
-----------------------
"Alert The system could not process your request see detail. Logging in again may help in some cases. Contact your System Administrator if you are still having problems.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log into the Unifier environment.
2. Navigate to a Shell > Click on the Home node (Top) > 3 Dots top right > Details
3. In the Detail Form change "Project Name" to a new value and change the Project Number to a new value.
4. Click "Save"
5. The Error noted above is displayed.

Something similar to the following would be written in the Unifier log files:

Exception while cross checking shell info and shell link location paths.Contact Administrator.
[root] file:///shell/action.xml:2249: Exception while cross checking shell info and shell link location paths.Contact Administrator.
