EPM Cloud: Scheduled Jobs Are Not Running But Showing Next Execution Date

Symptoms
They have a scheduled jobs for restructure that was created in 2018 that is
no longer working as a scheduled job. If they run the same job but as "Run
Now" it works and the restructure is done. If they create a new scheduled
restructure job it also works. However, they want to keep this scheduled job
as it was created in 2018 by the client.
Example:
The scheduled job ran on March 20, it ran successfully but did not perform
the restructure. It shows the next job to run on March 27. They want to
know how can the date can change when the restructure was not done. It gives
a false impression that it completed.
