Why Are There Different End Dates Produced in OPC and P6 When Derived From the Same Schedule? (Doc ID 2773302.1)

Last updated on MAY 10, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Primavera Cloud Service - Version 21.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Why are there different end dates produced in OPC and P6 when derived from the same schedule?

Example:

I have a schedule in Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC). I calculate that schedule and it produces an completion date of 30Jun23.

I export that schedule and import into P6.

I produce an XER and send it to X-Corp. X-Corp calculates the schedule and it produces an end date of 07Jul23.

I go into p6 and calculate the schedule for myself and it produces an end date of 16Jun23.

No changes were made to the schedule at any time in this sequence.
