SOCS: Application Timeout Occurs During Transactions and Auto Logs the User Thus Losing all Work Done Upto That Point (Doc ID 2775509.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Retail Store Operations Cloud Service (SOCS) mobile application automatically navigates back to the login screen every 1 hour when user is in between a transaction and has navigated to another application on the handheld device. This login screen is presented and automatically logs the user in and remains on the Open Transactions screen. This causes a problem where the user has to restart the transaction that was being run.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Login to SOCS.
2. Do an item look up and scan an item.
3. On the Item Details screen, leave the application idle.
4. After an hour, the login screen appears and the user is automatically logged in and at the Open Transactions screen.
