Error: "Requested IP is not registered in allowed IP List / Status 403 Forbidden" When Connecting to a P6 EPPM Endpoint via Primavera Data Service (PDS) (Doc ID 2775526.1)

Symptoms

When using Primavera Data Service (PDS) to load data for a P6 EPPM endpoint (where parameter configCode=ds_p6reportuser OR ds_p6adminuser), the following errors occurs.

Requested IP is not registered in allowed IP List
Status 403 Forbidden

 

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. Open Postman or other similar tool.
  2. Create a query to connect to PDS.
  3. Input the username/password.
  4. Click Send.
  5. Observe the reported error.
