Symptoms

Unable to unpublish certain assets in a live site. Attempting to unpublish results in the generic message, "Error occurred while unpublishing assets"

Clicking on the Details link provides the following message:

"Job Failed. Unpublish failed since items have references. Unpublish references first."

These assets do not appear to have any references or dependencies.
