ITEMLOC Family Messages Fail to Process in EICS if Item Price Record Already Exists for Items (Doc ID 2777099.1)

When attempting to process incoming ItemLoc messages, the following error occurs and ItemLocCre and ItemLocMod messages fail in the Retail Enterprise Inventory MPS_STAGED_MESSAGE table.

oracle.retail.sim.common.core.SimServerException: Error executing statement.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Find an item whose record exists for a store location in the ITEM_PRICE table.
  2. Process an ItemLocCre message for the same item for the same store location
  3. the message fails to process
