On : 11.13.21.01.0 version, Period Close Setup & Processing
Issue Reported::
User getting Error - The basis defined in the allocation component doesn't contain balances
Issue details :
User has created an Allocation rule based on statistical information. Essentially the rule is to allocate based on percentage held in stat accounts.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to the General Accounting-> Journals-> Task Panel-> Generate General Ledger Allocations
2. Select the below parameters:
>Rule or Rule Set
>Journal Category
>Post Allocations
3. Click on Submit
Getting the following error:
The basis defined in the allocation component doesn't contain balances. (GL-781785)
User checked the accounts - both have balances in them
