Symptoms
Problem Description:
A contact/beneficiary who is already tracked as a Person record in the system applied for a job as an external candidate.
When attempting to move the candidate to HR, the following message displays:
We found a possible duplicate of this candidate. (IRC-1590693)
After reviewing the duplicates and opting to merge the profiles, the following error occurs:
You can't select the person because this person type can't be merged with a candidate. Instead, this person must be manually hired directly. (IRC-1590694)
