Planning Cloud: Smart View Error while doing Ad-hoc Analysis - The dimension [XYZ] is invalid (Doc ID 2782518.1)

Symptoms

Error message saying Invalid Dimension in Smartview while connecting for an Ad-hoc analysis.

"The dimension [XYZ] is invalid."


However user is not facing the same issue when using an old existing ad-hoc sheet with members which was connected initially.

Also, if you notice the connected ad-hoc sheet, the dimension name for which it is throwing the error message is also displayed in brackets [], i.e. [xyz] in the POV. And when you try to select a member combination for the issue dimension XYZ, the dimension itself is not displayed in the member selector.
