Symptoms

When having a report with a document URL field for easy download and you want to access the link from excel or word the system is showing the following error:

401 Authorization Required and You cannot dial and access the connection URL directly.

The URL works correctly and generates the information as expected.
On the other hand, if you copy the URL and paste it into the internet browser, the document is downloaded successfully.
This means that the problem only occurs when trying to dial and access the connection URL directly by clicking the link.
