401 Error on IDCS page when Clicking Link to access directlly Unifier And Download Documents (Doc ID 2784219.1)

Goal

Error when clicking link to access directly to Unifier and download documents

When trying to download the document by clicking on the URL from excel however user is facing 401 unauthorized error. The same URL, when copied and pasted in browser, works fine and is able to download the file.
We have also tried clicking the Unifier login page URL from excel then also we are facing the same issue. The same step we did for the P6 login page URL, also is working the same. This looks like not an issue with Unifier.

 

Steps

1. User clicks the link in the word.
2. Microsoft word/excel tries to open the link and finds it has external authentication.
3. When user completes the authentication, users lands on IDCS error Page with 401 error
