Transfer Order Price Not Reflecting Secondary Quantity (Doc ID 2785217.1)

Last updated on JULY 22, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Inventory Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.21.04.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Dual UOM controlled items that are costed by secondary UOM. The items are defined with UOM conversion (1 HEAD = 200 KG (sec.UOM)) and Defaulting control as "Default". When creating transfer order, the secondary quantity is defaulted in transfer order based on UOM conversion. The transfer order price is the item cost multiplied by secondary quantity, which is correct.

When the requested quantity is changed for only secondary UOM in transfer order, the transfer order price does not change. When changing the primary quantity, the transfer order price changes accordingly. When costing items based on secondary quantity and transfer order is priced based on secondary quantity initially, users expect that the secondary quantity update will be reflected in the transfer order price. The pricing in the item master is set to be based on secondary quantity.

Request confirmation on the expected functionality for secondary quantity update.
