Certain Categories May Return a 404 or The Incorrect Category (Doc ID 2785349.1)

Symptoms

From either clicking the category breadcrumb on a PLP page, or simply navigating directly to the category/URL in question, you will encounter a 404. It is also possible this issue could manifest itself in the form of displaying what appears to be, the incorrect category and items when you navigate to said category.

Another symptom worth noting, is that you may notice you have multiple categories with similar/same names except for the capitalization, for instance "parts" and "Parts".

 

 

The main symptom to focus on, is that the category you are trying to navigate to is not displaying the items as expected (Either a 404 will be seen, or as indicated, perhaps another category by a similar name just different capitalization)

Changes

 You may have recently added a new category and perhaps didnt realize you used the same name as another category (With different capitalization)
