Unable To Create/ Update Context Field DFF In BOM Structure Using Import Map (Doc ID 2788971.1)

This Note discusses how to create/update context field DFF in BOM Structure using Import Map.

Currently user is using Import Map and trying to create/update the values of DFF's context field of BOM but apart from context DFF other BOM related details get update.

Step by step for re-producing this scenario
1) Configured the structure Component DFF
2) Added the Structure Details, Component Details and also DFF values using FBDI. FBDI worked as expected (DFF values also get created/updated).
3) Tried to replicated same update using Import Map.
4) Created the Import Map
5) Submitted the Item Batch
6) Structure details, Component details get created/updated but Context field DFF values not created/updated.
