Cannot Merge Accounts (Doc ID 2789117.1)

We are unable to merge some accounts (we have multiple examples)

We click on merge, select duplicate account and when clicking finish we get the following error:
"The selected record has been deleted by another user since it was retrieved. Please continue."

We tried this several times and in different timeframes and we get the same error.
