Goal

Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool is a tool in Windows Server, which is used by Microsoft Support to help diagnose Windows problems. When you contact Microsoft Support for any help, the support professional will eventually request to run the tool.

However, this article will guide us in how to run the tool and take an analysis.

Once the tool runs its course, it will save the results. You can then save the file and attach to the case for further analysis/investigation.

This Offline package will execute on the destination computer, generate a CAB file with diagnostic information that can then be sent to Microsoft and or to our Tier 2 for further analysis.
