"You must enter the duration of the fixed contract. (HRX-1560367) " while Changing Assignment or Updating Manager for the Employee in AE Legislation (Doc ID 2790744.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to update manager the following error occurs.

Error :

You must enter the duration of the fixed contract. (HRX-1560367)


Steps :

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. My Client Groups -> Person Management  -> Edit Employment 

The above error raises. 

2. In the Employment Terms Tab, under the section Contract Info,  

 User tried to provide value as below.

Type : Fixed Contract

Initial Start Date : 01/04/2007

Initial duration : 74 Years

Project End Date : 31/03/2081

3. On Save , System throws Error Message again. 

The same issue is reported when the user tried Change Manager from Responsive UI. 

Observation :

It is found that records uploaded very long back having history records in contract. And the Initial Records do not have Contract duration .

Changes

 The Contract details uploaded in the system few years back . Only the old Contract Details Person facing this issue. 

Records entered recently do not face this error.
