Some DEs do not Intially Show Data in Preview Pane or When Record is Opened

When users select a record in Business Process (BP) log, some fields in the preview pane do not initially show data that exists in a record. If a user collapses the pane, then expands it again, the data shows. This can also occur in the record as well. When a user opens a record and a section that has data is blank, if the user collapses the section then expands it, the data will show.
If a data element has data, it should always show in the preview pane and in an open record.
