Symptoms

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c, testing a Complex Files Data Server fails with the following error:

 
The same works fine in a lower environment using same code and DTD.

Changes

The Complex Files Data Server is configured to use an External Database. Troubleshooting the external database schemas was not possible as there were no access privileges.
