Symptoms

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c, after creating a new Complex Files Data Server configured to use external database, the following error occurs when testing the data server:


To reproduce:

  1. Login to ODI Studio
  2. Topology -> "Complex Files" Technology -> Create new Data Server
  3. Provide properties for external database
  4. Test the connection
