Goal
MRP and ASCP processes that use DBMS_PIPES require special setup when database is RAC enabled.
In order to understand and implement these setups, the DBA/Sys Admin needs to have an advanced level of understanding of the following:
Real Application Clusters (RAC)
Concurrent Manager setups/processes on a RAC
Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes
and/or Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) Planning processes
and/or Oracle Demand Planning (ODP) Collect and Pull processes
and/or Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) Data Collections processes
and/or Order Management Available to Promises (OM ATP) Data Collections processes
