Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Only Finish to to Start (FS) relationships are created when attempting to create Start to Start (SS), Start to Finish (SF) or Finish to Finish (FF) relationships in the Gantt chart.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Desired relationships would be created when attempting to create SS, SF or FF relationships in the Gantt chart.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Move the mouse pointer to the edge of the predecessor activity bar until it turns into a relationship pointer (a vertical single-ended arrow).
  2. Click and hold the mouse button while dragging to the successor activity. Release the mouse button.
Note:
  • If drawn from the right edge of the predecessor to the left edge of the successor, a finish to start relationship is created.
