CX Content Integration Stopped Working After CX Content Update (Doc ID 2795308.1)

Symptoms

After CX Content update to 21.6.1 version,  integration between Commerce Cloud environments and the CX Content environment has stopped working. Assets can no longer be retrieved within Commerce Cloud storefront widgets and admin console configuration from  CX Content instance.
