How to solve Oracle Cloud Agent metrics not populated issue (Doc ID 2795938.1)

Symptoms

Compute Instance hosted in OCI is not having metric. Metrics is not getting populated with data and gaps in graphs. After restarting oracle-cloud-agent service, sometime it starts populating metrics again but not consistent.

 

In order to start troubleshooting, Kindly walk through the following steps :

---> OS Version as follows:

---->-check for agent.log and osms.log for the instance experiencing this issue from below path:
oracle-cloud-agent/plugins/osms/agent.log
oracle-cloud-agent/plugins/osms/osms.log
