Symptoms

In an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) job that executes an Object Storage tool (OdiObjectStorageDownload, OdiObjectStorageUpload or OdiObjectStorageDelete) configured to use variables, the command fails with an error. For example, when using variables to specify a directory:
