Purpose
Starting in 21A Language labels have been updated to support Traditional and Simplified Chinese in Evaluation Management (EM) and Taleo Scheduling Center (TSC).
Use case
- In China, Users in Taiwan and Hong Kong use "Traditional Chinese", whereas users in Mainland use "Simplified Chinese". Showing correct labels makes a significant difference for Chinese users across recruiting applications UI - TSC and EM.
How it works
- Both Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese languages are activated in TSC/EM application.
- User arrives at a page via his browser, and the page becomes rendered in the activated language.
- When the Language selector is expanded, user find correct label for Chinese language i.e. Traditional Chinese {and not Chinese (Taiwan)}; Simplified Chinese {and not (Chinese (China)}.
- User selects either of the language and field labels/contents get appropriately translated.
