Last updated on MARCH 28, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - GoldenGate Service - Version NA and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
This document cover OCI Golden gate access control questions in detail

Goal

Following the OCI public documentation https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/goldengate-service/using/deployments.html#GUID-D31F1128-3AEC-483C-BAC1-86A4452C8E5E,
It is mentioned that PublicEndpoint can be set during CreateDeployment.

1. Is it possible to control the access source to this PublicEndpoint by a network security group or security list?
2. Is it correct that the public endpoints that can be set for Golden Gate (GG) can be accessed from the console screen?
3. When accessing any Internet (access source) - > GG's public endpoint (access destination), is it possible to narrow down the access source using network security groups or security lists?
4. If I want to narrow down the connection sources after setting GoldenGate public endpoint, what should I do?
