FA: SCM: SHIPPING: How does the System select the Subinventory when the Pick from Subinventory is Blank in Pick Wave Release Rule? (Doc ID 2798959.1)

On : 11.13.21.04.0 version, Shipping

1. Sales Order is created with Subinventory ABC defaulting from an extension.
2. In Manage Item Quantities for this item, Subinventory XYZ has 20 qty but ABC has none.
3. In the Pick Wave Release Rule, pick from Subinventory is populated as Blank.
4. Perform the Pick Release and notice that the Shipment Line gets backordered.
5. Now in the Pick Wave Release Rule under the Options tab, the Pick from Subinventory is populated as XYZ
6. Perform the Pick Release and the Shipment Line gets released successfully.
7. Requirement is that in the earlier scenario system should not backorder given that Qty is available in other subinventories.
