FCCS - Data Status become Impacted after Change in the Ownership Data for the Locked Period. Consolidation Rule Fails with Error "A Method Called by the Script Failed On Line 8, with error. Consolidation cannot be performed. Prior year XXXX" (Doc ID 2800161.1)

Symptoms

User has locked all the prior periods and inputting the values for the current period (For example: FY21, July). Now, running the consolidation gives the following error.

ERROR

"A Method called by the script failed on line 8, with error. Consolidation cannot be performed. Prior year FY20, Actual data must be consolidated first before consolidating the Entity XXXXX for FY21"


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Lock a period for an entity
2. Change ownership data in the locked hierarchy for the locked period
3. Status change to impact even though period is locked
4. System requires running consolidation for a locked period.
5. Run the consolidation.
6. Consolidation fails with an error.

Changes

Change in the ownership data for the Entity Structure. Ran the recompute Ownership for the locked Period.
