Goal

This KM document covers how a Passport service's status can be changed from Active to Inactive, or Inactive to Active.

Often customers need to change the service's status during the implementation/configuration of the service, or later if they wish to 'pause' the service or even stop using it ("How is a passport service turned off?").

NOTE:

If the customer intends to stop using the service altogether, then there are other configuration-related tasks that may be needed but are beyond the scope of this KM document. For example, if the Screening Service is "inline," the Screening Service in the Application Flow for the Career Sections needs to be removed.
