Short Circuit Leg Planning With Location Profile Creating Shipment With Wrong Destination (Doc ID 2803736.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 14, 2021

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A multi-leg Itinerary is created where a leg is defined with a Location Profile (e.g. Locations A, B, C) instead of a specific Location. Short Circuit Leg functionality is enabled via Parameter "SHORT CIRCUIT LEG=TRUE". An Order Release is created when it has a destination of one of the locations within the Location Profile of the configured Itinerary Leg. When this Order is planned using this Itinerary, it is expected to only plan up to the Itinerary Leg with the above configured Location Profile (as this order ends at one of hte locations within the Location Profile). The order DOES plan only using the expected legs. However, the destination of the Shipment created for that leg uses a DIFFERENT location from the ones in the Location Profile instead of the Order Release's actual Destination. As such, the shipment is ending at a different (unrelated) location than the destination of the Order Release
