NULL Value in Dashboard Prompts appears as Special Characters (Doc ID 2804253.1)

Symptoms

When displaying NULL values in dashboard prompt, the value NULL is showing as *)nqgtn(* if the Choice list values option of the dashboard prompt is set to 'Specific Values'

NULL is shown properly if the Choice List values is set to 'All Column values'.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a Dashboard Prompt with any subject area.
  2. Select Column Prompt and add a column that has Null value in the data.
  3. In the prompt options, Set Choice list values: Specific Values and add: NULL, value1, value2
  4. Enable 'Include All Column Values' and select 'All Column Values' for default selection.

In the resulting display, it will show *)nqgtn(* instead of NULL.

If Choice list values: All Column Values, NULL is shown.
