Auto-Filled Entries in the Grid Are NOT Saved to the Line Item and Line Item Details Views

Symptoms
On Unifier : Version 21.4
In the line item Grid View the user populates the entry for some pull-down. Then auto-fills additional rows Bulk Copying: Line item grids now enable bulk copying and editing of cell values. Cells can be selected and moved using drag and drop functionality, with the blue square at the lower-right corner of a cell denoting the handle. This behavior is similar to that of a spreadsheet.
Expected Result
After Bulk Copying data in the Grid, saving and switching back to the Form View the entries should be seen in the Line Items themselves and the Line Item Details reading tab on the right.
Actual Result
When the user switches back to the Form View the entries are NOT seen in the Line Items themselves and the Line Item Details reading tab on the right.
