Fusion Time and Labor: OUT TIME ENTRY IS INVALID MESSAGA IS NOT APPEARING WHEN IN AND OUT OUT OF RANGE (Doc ID 2806420.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 10, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Time and Labor Cloud Service - Version 11.13.21.04.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When both In and Out time events are out of range then in the time card only “In time entry is invalid” error message is appearing.

Example: In time added as 11:15AM and Out time added 5 PM, both are outside of the defined period as per the Shift Properties setup.  We expect to have both error message to be popped out as “In time entry is invalid” and “Out time entry is invalid”. But only “In time entry is invalid” is getting reported. Created a TDR based on the delivered rule template Validate Schedule Deviation Template which is supported by the delivered FF WFM_TDR_VALIDATE_SCHEDULE_DEVIATION_AP.
