Symptoms

ISSUE :

Hire Right - Checklist integrations not working for Home Email configuration . It Errors out

ERROR :

oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-PER:::PER_CHK_I9_EMAIL_MISSING:
<MESSAGE><NUMBER>PER-1532416</NUMBER><TEXT>You cant do this task since your person record doesnt have a work email. Contact your HR representative.
</TEXT><CAUSE></CAUSE><ACTION></ACTION><DETAILS></DETAILS><INCIDENT></INCIDENT></MESSAGE>

 

STEPS :

1. Checklist Integration with Hire Right for I9 integration

Integration Category - I-9
Integration Type - HireRight
Integration Code - EMP_I9_VERIFICATION
...
...

Employee Email Type : Home Email
Employee Address Type : Home Address
Update Status in HR : Yes.

2. Checklists Tasks are created

3. Now for a Person who has Home Email and Work Email.

Also has Home Address and Primary Mailing Address

When Initiate I9 Verification - getting the above error message

4. The same scenario works fine when the Integration is created with Email Type as Work Email.

5. As per the business, this should work with Work Email
