Symptoms
Created a custom OAC application role (MyCustomRole). This role has create/edit analysis privileges on a specific subject area set in the Catalog. Have granted this role the ability to edit the subject area in Answers and the role belongs to BI Content Author, which has the ability to create and edit views, including pivot tables.
However the button for adding a pivot table view is not present when a user is logged in with the custom role. Checked all the privileges and permissions but still don not know why the pivot table button is not appearing for this role.
Checkin other users with another custom role and they are able to see the pivot table button.
Replicated the permissions of a working user to the MyCustomRole role, but the pivot table button is still not appearing.
