Symptoms

When attempting to compose a message for a service request the following error occurs.

ERROR

Error: Channel isn't selected


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Nextgen HR help desk
2. Open or create a service request.
3. Search 'Compose Message' 
4. Select  channel type 'Web' and try to send a message
5. Error occurs
