Goal

On Oracle Content Management - Content/Desktop synchronization App updates and installations.

A few weeks ago, we had a problem with the desktop synchronization with Oracle Content Management Cloud.  The issue was successfully corrected by updating the Desktop App for Oracle Content Management Cloud.  However there are issues with the procedure in our environment.  In our organization, our users do not have administrator privilege to install the updates on their workstations.  Our security must review installations and updates of software before users are able to update their local software.  Because of this, each update can take as long as a few days, which is far too long for our users to wait on getting Desktop Sync working again.  Is there a way to apply updates without admin permissions?  If we could do that, then we would not require the security review.
