Purpose statement

This document provides an addendum to the 21B release notes. This is intended
for the security administrators to update the user-defined roles created prior to
21B to assign the new page permissions delivered in 21B.

Background

Predefined job roles are delivered with default access to pages, page elements, and permissions. Each release update
may deliver new pages, page elements, and permissions assigned to the predefined job roles.

Updates to User-Defined Roles

If you created user-defined roles and assigned page access to them using the Manage Application Access task in
Setup and Maintenance UI, you may want to review your user-defined roles to see if you need to assign them with
access to the new pages, page elements, and permissions delivered in 21B.
